Clare Strand at Les Rencontres d'Arles

The Photography Festival, Les Rencontres d'Arles, opens today ! 

If you are planning on going to Arles, please visit the Discovery Award Prize exhibition that features Clare Strand's work. 

Clare has been nominated by Brett Rogers, Director of The Photographers' Gallery in London. The selected theme for 2013 is Black and White. Strand will be showing a selection of her most iconic pieces including Flatland/Spaceland, Skirts and works from Conjurations.

  

The festival runs until September 22nd and it's open daily from 10am-7pm. The Discovery Award Ceremony will take place on Saturday 6 July 2013, 10pm at the Théâtre Antique.

  

Clare Strand will be signing copies of her new book Skirts published by GOST Books on 3 July 2013, 5.30 pm at the Festival Office on 34 rue du Docteur.
